“Downright COCKY, Proud as a Poly Peacock”

“And Samuel died; and all the Israelites were gathered together, and lamented him, and buried him in his house at Ramah. And David arose, and went down to the wilderness of Paran.

And there was a man in Moan, whose possessions were in Carmel; and the man was very great, and he had three thousand sheep, and a thousand goats: and he was shearing sheep his sheep in Carmel.

Now the name of the man was Nabal; and the name of his wife was Abigal: and she was a woman of good understanding, and of a beautiful countenance: but the man was churlish (vulgar, boorish) and evil in his doings: and he was of the house of Caleb.

And David heard in the wilderness that Nabal did shear his sheep.

And David sent out ten young men, and David said unto the young men, Get you up to Carmel, and go to Nabal, and greet him in my name.

And thus shall ye say unto him that liveth in prosperity, Peace be both to thee, and Peace be to thine house, and peace be unto all that thou hast.

And now I have heard that thou hast shearers: now thy shepherds which were with us, we hurt them not, neither was ought (anything) missing unto them, all the while they were in Carmel.

Ask thy young men, and they will shew thee. Wherefore let the young men find favour in thine eyes: for we come in a good day: give I pray (ask) thee, whatsoever cometh to thine hand unto thy servants, and to thy son David.

And when David’s young men came, they spake to Nabal according to all those words in the name of David and ceased (stopped).

And Nabal answered David’s servants and said, Who is David? and who is the son of Jesse?  there be many servants now a days that break away from his master.

Shall I then take my bread, and my water, and my flesh (meat) that I have killed for my shearers, and give it unto men, whom I know not whence they be (who they are)?

So David’s young men turned their way, and went again, and came and told him all those sayings.” 1 Sanuel 25:1-12

Basically, what happened in this passage is that David and his men were out in the wilderness, they were tired, hungry, and thirsty and David had sent his men to ask help from one who should have gladly helped them.

David did not even send them to request anything specific, only whatever could be given to help he and his men during that time.

But Nabal being evil, and greedy, even knowing David as the son of Jesse, cocked up and berated them for even having asked.

As we go on in the story, David was so enraged that he was going to wipe them out, he and his men had protected those of Nabal and when they needed help, Nabal laughed in their face.

A young man who knew what had happened went and told Abigal, how Davids’s men had protected them and that Nabal had laughed in their face when David had sent asking for provision hoping that she could do something before they were all slaughtered.

“Now therefore know and consider what thou wilt do (you will do); for evil is determined against our master, and against all his household: for he is such a son of Beliel, that a man cannot speak to him.” 1 Sameul 25:17

Now that was quite a statement, he was such a jerk, such a son of… that no one could even talk to him, he would not listen because he was prideful and arrogant and cared only for himself and would not care at all about the wrath that he was bringing on everyone else.

“Then Abigal made haste (hurried), and took two hundred loaves, and two bottles of wine, and five sheep ready dressed, and five measures of corn, and an hundred clusters of raisins, and two hundred cakes of figs, and laid them on asses.

And she said unto her servants, Go on before me; behold, I come after you. but she told not her husband Nabal.

And it was so (happened), as she rode on the ass, that she came down by the covert of the hill, and behold, David and his men came down against her, and she met them.

Now David had said, Surely in vain have I kept all that this fellow hath in the wilderness, so that nothing was missed of all that pertained unto him (protected all he had, and nothing was lost): and he hath requited me evil for good.

So and more also God do unto the enemies of David, if I leave of all that pertain to him by the morning light and that pisseth against the wall (he vowed to wipe out every male by morning). 1 Sameul 25:19-22

If you have a moment, read this chapter, I’m breaking it down because it is a long story and skipped quite a few verses.

Abigal then went on to apologize for the action of her miserable excuse for a husband, and explained to David that she had been unaware that his men had come seeking aid, and asked him to accept what she had brought and went on to note that by bringing it to her attention that God had prevented David from avenging and spilling blood and that the Lord would fight for him and to remember her kindness when the Lord dealt with his enemies.

“And David said to Abigal, Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, which sent thee this day to meet me: And blessed be thy advice, and blessed be thou, which hast kept me this day from coming to shed blood, and from avenging myself with mine own hand.

For in very deed, as the LORD God of Israel liveth, which hath kept me back from hurting thee. except thou hath hasted and come to meet me, surely there had not been left unto Nabal by the morning light any that pisseth against the wall (males). {If she had not came, he would have wiped them all out}

So David received of her hand that which she had brought him, and said to her, Go up in peace to thine house, see, I have hearkened to thy voice, and have accepted thy person (listened and accepted in peace)

And Abigal came to Nabal; and behold, he held a feast in his house, like the feats of a king: and Nabal’s heart was merry within him, for he was very drunken: wherefore (therefore) she told him nothing, less or more, until the morning light.

But it came to pass in the morning, after the wine was gone out of Nabal, and his wife had told him these things, that his heart died within him, and he became as a stone.

And it came to pass about ten days after, that the LORD smote Nabal, and he died.

And when David heard that Nabal was dead, he said, Blessed be the LORD, that hath pleaded the cause of my reproach from the hand of Nabal, and hath kept his servant from evil; for the LORD hath returned the wickedness of Nabal upon his own head. And David communed with Abigal, to take her for his wife.” 1 Samuel 25:32-40

Can’t help but think of this passage in light of the treatment being shown Israel by the nations, as many of my posts have been concerning that lately.

So cocky, so puffed up, and as the saying goes, “Proud as a Peacock” as they hold their meetings, expressing their grandeur and withholding needed aid and further victimizing and demonizing the very victims because that’s the politically advantageous game to play.

But playing with the devil will get you burnt when the wrath of God comes on all that have chosen evil over the cause of good.

But Israel is the focal point of all end-time prophecy and the great battle for Israel when Jesus returns to fight on her behalf is the culmination of all we have believed, prayed for, had faith for, and innumerable martyrs through the ages have died for.

Oh, so much cockiness, protests and protests, these people running wild over everyone and everything. so cocky, so arrogant and I do have a suggestion, if they love Gaza so much, why not take a few million of the immigration bled and buy them all tickets to Gaza and let them live there and see how well they fare.

The ridiculous demands of vegan and gluten free snacks and chargers, painfully alluding to the level of immaturity that is being dealt with.

To call these people childish is an insult to children.

As is calling these people peacocks is insulting to the actual bird so we’ll call them Poly Peacocks. much better than the first word choice that leapt into mind.

The leaders are hardcore manipulators whose only purpose is to stir up strife and lead the gullible to follow screaming after them calling for atrocities and speaking against things they do not even comparand.

And strife they have stirred, every imaginable subject, every imaginable group, year after year, the cause changing with the wind, as they have divided the land and brainwashed the youth to the point that they are unable to stand on their own feet, have their own opinions, or even know what their words even mean.

They do as their told and like little scarf-wearing superhero Wanna-Be’s to vanquish every whispered supposed injustice is the new goal.

Proud Poly peacocks, wearing their little scarves, some in their little masks, others outright hiding their faces, belligerently screaming through their little bullhorns, chanting along, all the while holding their phones in front of them to proudly display their arrogance for the world to see.

Some having to be carried away, I especially loved the video of the cop just picking up one guy that was twice his size, as he screamed the entire time and carried him away, if they are screaming that much while resisting arrest, what on earth is it going to sound like when the terrorists no longer have use for them and reveal their true hatred of us all?

The cops really need prayer, glee must fill criminals about now, as the police are tasked with babysitting these jokers and tearing their poly playhouses down, there is no time left to fight real crime.

When Hamas gives you two thumbs up that is not something you should be proud of.

These peacocks just want to strut those feathers and rack up those likes even at the expense of beheaded and burned alive babies.

“The shew of their countenance doth witness against them (appearance tells the tell); and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! For they have rewarded evil unto themselves.

Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him.

As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them (weak, effeminate men are their leaders).  O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.” Isaiah 3:9-12

That passage written originally for another time, perfectly mirrored, as present to past, describing with excellence the Poly Peacock show we see performed each and every day, by those in charge and those who just mindlessly follow their evil way.

Children are ruling, lawlessness and disrespect abound, and the adults just sit quietly with their heads down.

All that is left that we even could say it God help us all, but just like Nabal, there will be many due to treatment of God’s chosen who simply fall.

That judgment at times comes swiftly as it is God that makes those calls.
