“THIS IS THAT”

“And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all were in one accord in one place.

And suddenly  there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave the utterance.

Now when this was noised abroad (told), the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.

And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galileans?

And how hear we every man in our own tongue (language), wherein we were born?

Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia.

Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews, and proselytes.

Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.

And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?

Others mocking said, These men are filled with new wine,

But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words.

For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.

But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel.” Act 2: 1-16

I am sure everyone has seen reports of the great revival that is manifesting as all the woes. and troubles,  and terrors are bringing the birth pains of this world to an excruciating deliverance.

We have been seeing for years now those events which Jesus told us were the beginning of the sorrows, and as the world is in that spiritual labor with pain and suffering on all sides, but the beauty to be revealed will far outweigh the pain

So many of us have lived for this very moment in time, the fulfillment of all that Jesus promised and the fulfillment of those promises.

And all this will go hand in hand, as the troubles increase so will the number of salvations.

But, as the old saying goes, “You ain’t seen nothing yet!” I know I had included this in a post once but I can’t remember which one, I have almost six hundred on here, so I am clueless what I titled it,as I do get funky with those sometimes:)

I used the passage above to correlate with this, I know I have used it before but it had to be again, I wanted to share this.

I want to share what I believe is coming with this, I believe we are in the realm of what we have been waiting for, and many that believed that also, and have went on home now, but like those of Hebrews chapter eleven, they died still believing this would one day come.

And it has been stirring, I had an absolute divine revelation of such, May 19,2012, I had an appointment to preach and those of us there were worshipping and the Spirit fell in an incredible way,  now this was a Spirit filled church, there were two, one of which was my late sister, who had the awesome gift along with tongues that allowed them to sing in tongues, which is a sound unlike anything you could ever imagine,we had a wonderful pastor, who has also went on now, but God blessed our services, but this particular night was profound.

As we worshipped the Spirit just came and every person’s gift manifested, and this was simultaneously, the entire group with different manifestations of the Spirit, and I heard  crystal clear a portion of that verse above.

And when I got home, I went to Book of Joel, but I had to go to the Book of Acts to find what was spoken to me, it referenced Joel, but it was stated in Acts.

I was so amazed by what I had saw and what I had heard that I wrote down the date, I couldn’t even tell you now what my sermon was on that night, but I can tell you what really held the importance of that moment.

And I believe that is what we are going into, as the harvest is coming in, we will see manifestations of the gifts and miracles unlike anything this world has ever seen or will ever see again.

The simplistic truth of miracles is this, they are for those who do not believe, they are to show onlookers that what has transpired has no human explanation and are of the supernatural realm, that is why the disciple prayed  for the signs and wonders to follow them and as Jesus told us they do follow those who believe.

I don’t want to get into that too much, but it’s been quite clear why  we hadn’t seen those things as we should in the American churches

There has been some much animosity in ministry at least from my prospective  there is so much one-upmanship, and “Anything you can do I can do better” attitudes that go on behind the scenes that it’s no shock the false doctrines have taken such a hold, but that’s all over now, because we are in the days that there will be that separation and the works will be done through those who are now being prepared while those who couldn’t get past a false sense of competition will be in for a sad realization, think of that as when Moses realized his disobedience prevented him from entering the promised land.

The fire now is for them who are falling at the feet of Jesus, with true humility and repentance, desiring only His forgivenessmercy, and grace.

When we truly have Christ, it is no longer about us, or even this world, it is about bringing all we can to Him, for His glory and for the Kingdom, and to see souls who were tormented made free, and the greatest goal, to witness his Kingdom come to this earth and Him take His rightful place as King

To sum it all up, hold on to your hats, as the saying goes, the crazy is just going to get crazier, the woes are going to grow dreading more woeful, but as the manifested glory falls, it will be unparalleled in wonder.

Joel 2:1-31: “Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is at hand;

A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains; a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even the years of many generations.

A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.

The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run.

Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.

Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness.

They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks:

Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded.

They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief.

The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withhold their shining.

And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?

Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:

And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.

Who knoweth is he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him: even a meat offering and a drink offering unto the LORD your God?

Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly:

Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chambers, and the bride out of her closet.

Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine inheritance to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God?

Then will the LORD be jealous for his land, and pity his people.

Yea, the LORD will answer and say unto his people, Behold, I will send you corn, and wine,a nd oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen.

But I will remove far off from you the northern army, and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and his ill savor shall come up, because he hath done great things.

Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things.

Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength.

Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.

And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine and oil.

And I will restore to you the years the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.

And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.

And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the LORD you God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.

And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.

And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.

And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.

The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the LORD come.

And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call upon the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.”

All winding up, all coming together, and as always if you have not received the salvation of the Lord as yet, do not hesitate and if you desire more of him, pray and seek His face and you will never be the same!

Blessing and Peace till next time!

“Consecrated and Commissioned”

“That thou mightest know the  certainty of those things, wherein thou hast been instructed.

THERE was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea a certain priest named Zacharias, of the house of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth.

And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.

And they had no child, because Elisabeth was barren, and they both were now well stricken in years (old).

And it came to pass, that while he executed (served) the priest’s office before God in the order of his course, According to the custom of the priest’s office, his lot was to burn incense when he went into the temple of the Lord.

And the whole multitude of the people were praying without (outside) at the time (hour) of incense.

And there appeared unto him an angel of the Lord standing on the right side of the altar of incense.

And when Zacharias saw him, he was troubled, and fear fell upon him.

But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.

And thou shalt have joy and gladness, and many shall rejoice at his birth.

For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall neither drink wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother’s womb.

And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God.

And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, TO TURN THE HEARTS OF THE FATHERS TO THE CHILDREN, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.

And Zacharias said unto the angel, Whereby (How) shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife is well stricken in years.

And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew (show) these  glad  tidings,

And behold, thou shalt be dumb (mute), and not be able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed, because thou believest not my words, which shall  be fulfilled in their season.”  Luke 1:4-20

I wanted to stop for just a sec, and tell you something, this is a great example of why we shouldn’t always be so quick to beat ourselves up when we sometimes struggle with our own faith.

Dude here, had Gabriel, the angel Gabriel himself standing there, coming on divine assignment from God himself and still he questioned the good news that he had been given, but in his mind, he just struggled with he and Elisabeth’s age, but again gives us yet another wonderful example that age is nothing to God, and impossible is a strictly human word, a word that is not in God’s vocabulary.

As we read, because of his doubt, because he doubted an angel himself, he would be speechless until John was born.

Luke 18:27: “And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”

As it had been on my heart to do thirty days of the basics, the fundamental teachings and stories of Christ, because to be honest there are so many jacked up twisted versions of what they want to call the Gopsel being taught and spread that it horrifies me.

2 Peter 3:16: ” As also in all his epistles speaking in them these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned (untaught) and unstable wrest (twist) as they do also the other scriptures unto their own destruction.”

Two vital words there unlearned, which means untaught, and unstable. This is referencing those whom we have spoken of in posts past, that whether they even realize or even take it seriously, that by engaging the word of God and using his name and holding “services” completely unrepentant and in complete abomination to him is one of the most dangerous things any human being can do and if they go to far over that line, through their not even understanding his holiness, they could endanger their souls to the point of no forgiveness.

Who teaches us? God. God teaches us through his word and we now have access to even listen to the word being read, completely free online. it is so important to have a personal relationship with God so that he can  use that time to teach us what he would have us to know.

That is why we are taking a good look a John, the one God chose and consecrated  to come first to announce the arrival of the King.

A King must always have an introduction and a people must always know how to behave in the presence of a King.

John was given the Holy Ghost before he was born of his mother, think about that and think about all these abortions, John had already been given his very name, and sanctified and consecrated of the Lord, in the highest form before even leaving his mother’s womb.

I want to now share with you the rest of the story.

Luke 1:57_80: “Now Elisabeth’s full time came that she should be delivered; and she brought forth a son.

And her neighbours and her cousins heard how the Lord had shewed great mercy upon her; and they rejoiced with her.

And it came to pass, that on the eighth day they came to circumcise the child; and they called him Zacharias, after the name of his father.

And his mother answered and said, Not so: but he shall be called John.

And they said unto her, There is none of thy kindred that is called by this name. And they made signs to his father, how he would have him called.

And he asked for a writing table (tablet) and wrote his name is John. And they marvelled all.

And his mouth was opened immediately, and his tongue loosed, and he spake, and praised God.

And fear came on all that dwelt round about them: and all these sayings were noised abroad (word spread) throughout all the hill country of Judea.

And all that heard them laid (kept) them up in their hearts, saying, What manner of child shall this be! And the hand of the Lord was with him.

And his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Ghost, and prophesied, saying,

Blessed be the Lord God of Israel: for he hath visited and redeemed his people.

And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David.

As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began.

That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us.

To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant.

The oath which he sware to our father Abraham.

That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies, might serve him without fear.

In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.

And thou child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest; for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways.

To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission(forgiveness) of their sins.

Through the tender mercy of our God: whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us.

To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.

And the child grew, and waxed (became) strong in spirit, and was in the deserts till the day of his showing to Israel.”

We can see so clearly through this account the seriousness and holiness of God’s commissions.

His name, the command that he could not consume alcohol, the details of his commission all given to his father before he was even conceived! Now that is powerful and that is God!

We will look at the arrest and execution of John in a later one of our thirty posts.

But for now, I want to leave you with Jesus word’s concerning John, and the job he did and the hope for all who truly love him and keep his word in truth and integrity.

Luke 7:28: “For I say unto you, Among those that are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist: but he is that is least in the kingdom of God is  greater than he.”

Thanks for reading, Love & peace till tomorrow!

Valued Vulnerability

“Thus saith the lord to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him: and I will loose the loins (armour) of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates (double doors); and the gates shall not be shut

I will go before thee, and make the crooked way straight; I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder (half) the bars of iron;

I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I,the Lord, which call thee by thy name, AM the God of Israel,

for Jacob my servant’s sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me.

I am the Lord, and there is none else, there is no God beside me:  I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:

That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west (to its setting), that there is none beside me, I am the Lord, and there is none else.

I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil (calamity)I the Lord do all these things.

Drop down (rain down),ye heavens, from above, and let the skies POUR down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the Lord hath created it.” Isaiah 45:1-8

Proof positive that God does what he wants, when he wants, and most importantly, through who he wants. Notice it starts by pointing to the fact that Cyrus is his anointed, chosen to be used for a very specific purpose according to will of God. And he goes on to establish the fact that he will open up the “door” to accomplish that purpose, a very wide path,a s it is double doors, and that no would, no one, no power on earth or even, not of earth, would be able to stop the plan that God has laid out. And as he goes before, his wonder, his majesty, his anointing all will now from one end of earth to the other that the God of Israel, Jehovah God is the only true God.

And to make this even more thought  provoking to those who would be witness is this, as he referenced, though they had not known him, though they had certainly not, but yet they certainly would.

He outlines his plan in this, that they will know that it is he that creates light, dark, peace, and calamity, and that does not mean that God brings evil upon innocent people, satan is responsible for that, but God does bring judgment and calamity upon his enemies and those who try to destroy his children.

His purpose is that even though they had not known and had not believed that they would see and they would know and his righteousness would be poured down like rain from heaven itself.

Now for my big question, how much more is God speaking to those who already know him? Time for some vulnerability, mention of vulnerability, we don’t really need me to point this out, but as a refresher, I am totally going to point it out again, because talk about famous last words…

Revelation 18:7:”How much hath she gloried herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I SIT as a queen, am no widow, and shall see no sorrow,”

We know this is The Great speaking, “Mystery, Babylon the Great” as “she” is referred to by Revelation 17:5, she is a not a woman, :she” is a country, and she is not just any country, she is a country that was founded for the glory of her “husband” but as some point those beautiful bridal veils started to be removed one by one in nothing that can be described other than a spiritual strip tease for all the world to see, as morals, reverence, purity, and above all holiness was auctioned off to the highest bidder, selling herself to the agenda that is willing to pay the most.

The spiritual wickedness in high places polluted even the queen’s sense of decency, love and compassion, as babies, who Babylon, in a sickening justification attempt, has now been renamed as “products of conception, that are an “inconvenience” to those who conceived them are simply disposed, murdered, period, even as they like to say “aborted”, sounds like a mission that one decided to forego, and let’s not forget RU486, the “symbolism” in the name itself is mind blowing, break this down, RU= “Are you”, 4= “for”, 86= To be removed, such as a restaurant item removed from a menu, it is “86ed”. but in this case, RU486 is to 86 the baby’s life.

Can’t make this stuff up, the dictionary is going to need updated every week to contain all the changes that society has made to words in an attempt to  take the stinging truth out of what they don’t want to hear, old cop shows used to end with “The names have been changed to protect the innocent” but now we know in real life the names are being changes to protect the guilty, but God is not going to give any free passes, if repentance does not come, he will call it exactly as it is.

So the Queen had alienated her mind, sold her soul and in her sin ridden sickness had the audacity to brag about her sin and to even laugh at her husband the King, as she praises herself, that she is Queen and boasts that she does not need him or care what he thinks and then goes on to arrogantly boast taht she will see no sorrow. Does this sound familiar? We also know another Queen who is referred to as The Great,  we also know the beautiful beginning, we know the sin,we know the current state  and unfortunately we can read how that story is going to end and Babylon the Great will not be spared BUT there is still a chance for those who will to be saved out of Babylon before the destruction, which you can read about in Revelation 18, It had written on it quite extensively in the past, but had pulled many of those posts while we were in  a season of reprieve and that season is now over and those forces have risen,a nd risen with a vengeance, and a hatred, and a desire to silence true voice of God, as the candy coats  will continue to be welcomed.

We also know that God is very merciful and gracious to forgive, we can be made new anytime, anyplace just for the asking. So you could ask why the destruction, it is one thing to sin, it’s one thing to have inhabitants that sin but the nation itself still honor God, but when the nation becomes polluted, the laws perverted and the prevalent desire is to remove God from the equation, then God will remove himself, and that includes his protection and that nation comes under judgment. It is important to be careful here and remember that God still cares for his people, think of the Hebrews having light while all of Egypt was in utter darkness and the death angel passing over the homes of those who had the blood applied.

God’s mercy and blessing were bestowed on those who humbly, vulnerably came to him, those who had been persecuted in their own land for their desire to worship him, as he gave then a new land, a new beginning, and blessing to become the greatest nation on earth.

Fast forward through time as little by little those veils were danced off until that has become vulnerable again, not to the hope of the mercy of God and his favor, but vulnerable to all the nations she has danced for, and all that have followed her in that dance.

Revelation 18:3:”For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies”

ALL the nations of the earth have made profit exporting to Babylon, the abundance of her delicacies meaning the inhabitants cane never get enough, never have enough , keeping a steady flow of imports coming to her shores.

ALL looked to Babylon as a standard for wealth and power and through that all were tainted, monkey see monkey do, and if your country can’t pay for their abortions, American taxpayers will foot that bill for you.

As she chose to turn “her” back on God and mock him, her vulnerability that once had been shielded under the hands of God has now become bare, for all the world to see, and as those “she” touted as friends watch as those veils fall, they will attack, because they weren’t real friends after all. “that she will realize once it’s too late are actually her enemies and she chose to ridicule and mock God, trusting in “herself”, her power, her strength, God will give her to these enemies but he will save those taht are his before destruction comes.

Revelation 18:4: “Come out of her, my people, be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have REACHED unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.”

A picture of the rapture, and I am sure it could be argued that this would mean to be  “seperated”, act right, to not do as they do, but no, this is when he is going to destroy it.

No one will have time to get saved, if your not committed to Christ when this happens you will not have a chance once it does, the destruction of Babylon is a separate judgment, it is in with the end time events but it’s destruction is sudden, so even though there will be those who are saved out of the end times, the inhabitants of Mystery, Babylon the Great will NOT have that luxury.

We’ll pick this up after the verse when she announced herself Queen.

“Therefore shall he plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she will be utterly burned with fire; for strong is the Lord God who Judgeth her.

And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication (spiritual wickedness) and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her (weep for her),and lament when they see the smoke of of her burning,

Standing afar off for fear of her torment, saying, Alas, that great city Babylon, taht mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.

And the merchants of the earth sha;; weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more.

The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple (dye), and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner of vessels of ivory, and all manner of precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble.

And cinnamon, and odours (incense), and ointments (fragrant oils and frankincenseandwine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts (cattle),and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men (human trafficking).

And the fruits that thy soul lusted after (longed for) are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty (are rich) and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all.

The merchants of these things, which WERE made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing, And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!

For in one hour so great riches is come to nought (nothing). And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off.

And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city!

And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping, and wailing, saying, Alas, alas that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness (wealth)! for in one hour is she made desolate (a wasteland).” Revelation 18:8-18

Going over that list you can certainly understand why all the exporters wail and cry, financial devastation but you can also see very clearly why it is said that she lived deliciously, it is said taht they are not crying over any of those who have perished at the destruction only at the loss of their income because the babylonians really like shopping and don’t care how made it, how it was made, they will buy anything and according this verse that includes people.

You know, I have studied this for years and I would always get stuck on taht part, and I’d be like, Lord we don’t do that anymore… boy, was I wrong, just hadn’t seen the horrors that have panned out and on that same note, those who have disputed the Queen’s identity or continue to dispute just had not or have not seen quite enough, but they will, the farther it goes the worse she becomes and don’t kill the messengers, they don’t always like the message but they still have to deliver it.

Mention of messengers, How are people going to be saved out of all this? By God’s messengers realizing the need for their own vulnerability in service to God.

Here’s’ the definition: Vulnerability: “the quality or state of being exposed to the possibility of being attacked or harmed, either physically or emotionally.”

No one like to feel vulnerable, no one wants to feel put on the spot, no one wants to be attacked or laughed at or whatever the fear may be, but in these last days we need God’s people to stand up and be willing to tell the whole world taht yes, they do believe and to share the Gospel with all God would allow them to and even more so to allow God to fill them with His spirit and use them in miraculous ways.

I think sometimes we become so self conscious that we can hinder the work God has for us and hinder the development of the gifts he has for us and more so hinder the use of those gifts for the kingdom, and make no mistake, without the Holy Spirit nothing will be effective, we could minster to a thousand people but without the anointing of God, it will fall on deaf ears and I feel that today, that someone, somewhere is wrestling with these things and you know the time and you see the signs and you know you have a call on your life, but you feel really vulnerable, I want to encourage you, be vulnerable, submit to God and all he has for your life and more importantly helping others on that path to salvation, no one knows the hour of Christ return but we have to be ready when he does, and we want everyone possible to be ready to.

So submit to God, submit to the Holy Ghost and do not ponder who will think what allow his POWER to fill you and guide you because it is his power taht changes all things and without it nothing will change.

Lettin’ it ride…

“Perverse disputing of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness (godliness is a means of gain), from such withdraw thyself.

But godliness with content  is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.

And having food and raiment (clothing) let us therefore be content.

But they that be (desire to be) rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many hurtful lusts, which draw men into  destruction and perdition.

For the love of money is the root of all (all kinds of) evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many arrows.

But thou, O man of God, flee these things, and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, and meekness.” 1 Timothy 6:5-11

This is kinda of a hard thought to relay, but you know with everything going on right now, it is  really good time to remember what really matters and if any of us were to think back for just a moment to our pre- Christ days, I am sure we would all agree that no matter where we were, who our friends were, what job we held, the social circles we moved in that without him we were empty, lost and absolutely dead.

And not only speaking of those who have spent life searching for fortune and fame but now also those who have been content, making money and living a little at a time trying to do their best for their families and think now all have fallen victim to our new, never before dreamt of  perils, with the economy crashing and many having now lost their jobs due to the pandemic and many more in danger of it everyday because this virus just is not going away.

But we got to have hope and our hope is God and his goodness and his provision for all our lives and even if one is not having any pandemic related worries sometimes it can be the world and other people making you feel like you have to be “more”, do “more” that you are measured somehow against some invisible standard that says you must accomplish this or that by some magical date or age, or you are just not worth your salt.

Me and my best friend were discussing the “woes of this world” the other day, and we grew up in such a time that was so different, now everyone has someone that they hate and if you don’t hate that person too, than you are a hater, which is quite the oxymoron, kinda like friendly fire, no one is allowed to have their own opinion and we must walk on eggshells and chose every word very carefully because even the slightest word misspoken will put you under that fire and no one cares if it hurts you, your family, whoever, the world is so ready to put you on public display for that perceived infraction, such as the Pastor that lost his lease because someone noticed he had posted a trump meme.

Have we all forgotten where we came from? Especially those of the house of God, we were not ALL sinners washed by the perfect blood of the Lamb Lord Jesus, do we not all have the same blood, especially when that blood is as heirs of Christ?

And even worse for those who have not made that conversion to salvation because oh we know what it is like when that Holy Spirit conviction comes and we are forced to look into that spiritual mirror of how we have judged and misjudged others, God using that often as that catapult to our own repentance.

But for us,  sometimes the wisest decision  made is to just let things ride and let it all work out in it’s own time and remembering the very wise words spoken by one who knew all these varying emotions well.

“Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men’s sins, keep thyself pure.” 1 Timothy 5:22,

Paul had written this as he wrapped up his teaching on how to treat one another and expected behaviors of the church.  And I believe, that we are in danger more at this present time, than any time in history of doing just that, of becoming so focused on the moment and choosing the lesser of two evils, that we can easily fall into another sins.  God had so  much written on contentment and contentment with him and in him, this is where we rest.

And in the knowing that this world is but for a moment and you have the awesome promise of eternal reward and eternal fellowship with God, everything pales in comparison to that and if it were our last night on this earth, the only truth that would remain and only thought worth thinking would be thoughts of that glorious day. So I’d like to present you with some scriptures that I pray will keep us will help us all stay focused on what truly makes us free.

“Surely I am more brutish than any man, and have not the understanding of  man. I neither learned wisdom, nor have knowledge of the holy.

Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name? and what is his son’s name? if thou canst tell (know it)?

Every word of God is pure, he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.

Add not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

Two things have I required (requested) of thee; deny me them not before I die; Remove far from me vanity and lies; give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient (you prescribe) for me;

Lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is the Lord? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain.” Proverbs 30:2-9

He is confessing his own humanity and asking for God to take control and let his life be never rich nor poor but content by being divinely governed by the hand of God.

“Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again, I say Rejoice. Let your moderation (gentleness) be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.

Be careful (anxious) for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with  thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

And the peace of God, which passeth  all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report;  if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, now that at the last your last care of me hath flourished again; wherein you were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity.

Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned with whatsoever state I am, to be content. I know both how to be abased (live humbly) , and I know how to abound (live in prosperity): every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

I can do ALL things through Christ which strengthens me.” Philippians 4:4-13

He is relaying to us the need to keep our minds focused on those good things and reminding us that God gives us peace that goes so far beyond human comprehension that there are no words to describe it, we are not even capable of understanding the magnitude of that peace.

he is also reiterating the fact that it was needful for him to understand both the concepts of both ends of the spectrum, because in his ability to understand this, he had that contentment through the peace of God and he could also witness that contentment to others, and think of this, he is still witnessing to us with the words about nineteen hundred and fifty some odd years later.

And finally, Micah 6:8 ” He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?”

And he is asking this as  a rhetorical question, and we need to ask ourselves this now, what does the Lord expect from us?

The same thing he has always wanted, to repeat those words, to love him, to love justice, to do good, and do what is right, not what the world demands as their interpretation of that right, but what God’s words demand.

“Jesus said unto him, THOU SHALT LOVE THE LORD THY GOD WITH ALL THY HEART, AND WITH ALL THY SOUL, AND WITH ALL THY MIND. This is the first and great commandment. And the second like unto it. THOU SHALT LOVE THY NEIGHBOR AS THYSELF.” Matthew 22:37-39

Just let it ride, as the world does its thing, just find your peace and rest in Jesus and in knowing that in all things he has you and he has your today and tomorrow in the palm of his hand and you can rest in knowing that he will never let you down.

The calling…trying to make it fit

Nothing quite like a “sequel” or “prequel” or something even equal, four years in the making! So the next two posts are going to be from my “archives” they have NEVER been on my personal site and had been deleted from publishing for at least three years but I want to continue the thought. So in order to get to the third part (yet to be written) I have to get the groove going with the first two or “the fit” is just not going to be right! 😉

Post one. *This is EXACTLY as originally written so if it has old “news”or personal thoughts long since much conveyed, just disregard those parts. I just want the scripture and thoughts about those scripture to be brought forth.*

“THE CALLING/ TRYING TO MAKE IT FIT” ORIGINAL POST DATE: NOVEMBER 01, 2014

The acceptance and pursuit of the will of God for your life can really send you on a roller coaster of ups, downs, ecstatic highs and tear soaked lows. So many throughout the Bible did the same, they left friends, family, even disobeyed the wishes of kings to follow that still small voice as it repeated, “Follow me” in their souls.

As Jesus told us, we know his voice, and a stranger we will not follow. Listen only to him, his plans for your life are not the same plans he has for any other person that he has created.

“It is better to put trust in the Lord than to put confidence in men.” Psalm 118:8

Part of being fearfully and wonderfully created is the spiritual armour, yours is created just for you!

Your helmet of salvation, compassing your head, your thoughts obedient to Christ and joy in the knowledge of your salvation through him.

Your breastplate of righteousness, God’s righteousness, conforming you to his will, protecting your heart, your love, your mercy.

Your lions gird with the truth, protecting your fruitfulness and the truth of who He is, His justice and grace clothing you.

Your feet shod with the preparation of the Gospel of peace, the firm footing that you stand on, your foundational rock that will never be moved, his peace going before you, paving your way.

Your sword of the Spirit, the Word of God, that cuts through all the questions, confusion, and adversaries.

Your shield of faith, seeing you through every circumstance and protecting you from the devices of the enemy.

Sometime people, often those close to us, with the best of intentions, try to suit us up in garments that were never meant for us and no matter how hard they try to make those spiritual clothes fit us, it is never gonna happen!

After David convinced King Saul that he KNEW God would give him the victory over Goliath, Saul still tried to put David in what he thought he should wear.

“And Saul armed (clothed) David with his armour, and he put a helmet of brass upon his head; also he armed him with a coat of mail. And David girded his sword upon his sword upon his armour, and he assayed to go (tried to walk) for he had not proved (tested) it.

And David said to Saul, I CANNOT GO WITH THESE; for I have not proved them and DAVID PUT THEM OFF.” 1 Samuel 17:38,39

David had to go with what he knew, his sling, his stones and the knowledge that his God would fight for him.

Maybe you have someone who is trying to advise you, or feels that your road should be like theirs and this is how they did, so you should too, but inside of you that still small voice is saying something else, and maybe it is a road that is so different that NO ONE has taken it! (YET)

God knows his plans for you, and says in his word that you have no need that man teach you, because HE WILL TEACH YOU.

“But the anointing which ye have received abideth IN YOU and YE NEED NOT THAT ANY MAN TEACH YOU; but as that same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and EVEN AS IT HATH TAUGHT YOU, YE SHALL ABIDE IN HIM.” 1 John 2:27

That does not mean that you do not need spiritual guidance but at the end of the day, all that remains is YOU AND GOD.

You know your calling by that burning in your heart, do you love the word and can’t get enough of it, that if someone were to cut you, your wish would be that instead of blood, scripture would pour out.

Does your heart cry inside of you when you think of others hurt and persecuted and you just want to go to them with God and his healing?

Whatever is closest to your heart, that you cherish most, that is where your calling will be found, I suspect, that you probably already suspect what it is!

Maybe you are expected to sing, oversee a nursery or follow in great grandpa’s footsteps of ministry, and you’re thinking in your heart “not feelin’ this” that is because your calling will produce such a passion inside of you can’t hold it back. God does not want you to have to hold back, he wants you on fire, in him, being his light, his voice and the one who can use to change someone’s world.

Don’t let anyone try to clothe you with something that will never fit you.

You may very well preach to four hundred and fifty people or sing to a thousand but that fire will only be effective when it blazes the paths he has chosen.

What is that same sermon or that same heavenly song were sent to oppressed people in a country you’ve never even heard of?

I feel like someone is going through this and you really just have to have courage and trust God, people don’t always appreciate it when you “reject” their armour, but I promise it’s better to take a chance and let them know you feel than to let them put it on you and waste time and heartache feelin’ like a trick pony and almost fall under the weight of something you were never intended to wear.

Been there, done that and was almost destroyed and completely burned out from it, and God always prevails, He has blessed me beyond measure with this blog and you who read it will never know how much I appreciate you.

The best part is He allowed me to get into subjects that are so difficult to even touch in a live settings, and it can be read in private.

And NO ONE sees me (which is good for you guys!!!) no one can complain about my make-up ( just think I could be wearing clown make-up right about now!)

No ghastly horror at the fact that I’m not in a one piece floor length black dress, a lot of people wouldn’t even bother considering this a ministry because it doesn’t fit their status quo, ah but it is.

The best part is the “boys clubbers” can not accuse me of being what they see as a heretic with the “Ohhh, she’s a chick” because He has allowed me to “say” more through this than I could have ever “said” otherwise, and without even speaking a word!!!

So come what may, stand your ground, do not be afraid, BE YOURSELF, WEAR YOUR ARMOUR, the armour THAT HE HAND CRAFTED TO FIT YOU and you alone, “cast not away your confidence”, what He starts, He will finish!

Of course the original post did not have the image or the music, but this song is perfect and when I started in ministry I was just led that way. I was given an opportunity to do radio and live appointments. But with the radio, which was blessing, I had like fifteen minutes and always used part of them for a song, but music is powerful and God inhabitants the praise of his people! And we all need a good battle song! So please continue to join and we’ll go from “Precious’ to “Being “Pre-shrunk” (new) and onward! Have a blessed day!
