Have you heard?

“And it came to pass, that when Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples, He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? and they s unto him, WE HAVE NOT SO MUCH AS HEARD WHETER THERE BE ANY HOLY GHOST.” ACTS 19:1,2

Now this is much like the scriptural fact that “How can you believe upon Him in whom you have not heard?” These men HAD been baptized into John’s baptism, by all rights they WERE saved but yet they were missing a crucial element to there salvation, the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. And I KNOW all the arguments, I KNOW that there are more than enough that believe that this was only for the disciples and these moments in time. And I will not even go there because I have a better question for their answer. How can you KNOW that for certain, if you have NEVER experienced HIM? Sure, if you have never  known a fact for yourself, YOU CAN SAY with self assured fervor that this is no longer given and BELEIVE in yourself to be right and yet be so completely wrong. 

The common knowledge is this, the indwelling of the Holy Spirit that you are given at the exact breath that you accept Christ as your Savior. The Holy Spirit leads us,and guides us, gently nudges us in the right direction and will flat out warn us to stumbling blocks or snares that the enemy has set, and will also convict us of our own self righteousness and unsavory behavior.

No disputing that anywhere. But there is so much more, much,much more and it seems that what was once sought after, prayed for, fasted for, has now has been left for the pages of a denominational history book.

That is a major problem. God has not changed. The gifts and callings have not changed. The fruit of the Spirit has not changed. He is the same God that called out Abraham, He is the same God that spoke to Moses, and performed every mighty act recorded from front to back in His Holy word. Ancient of Days, STILL THE SAME. And the Holy Ghost is STILL very much active, alive and quite well.  The only change that came was to us and our desire of Him and we absolutely have to get back to those old paths from a generation ago because what we are going to lose is irreplaceable. THEY WILL NEVER KNOW IF THEY HAVE NEVER EVEN HEARD OF HIS EXISTENCE and that is a sad state, I have been saved for sixteen years and I could probably count on one hand the times this subject has been addressed that I have heard.

We need more than ever to teach on Him, preach on Him and pray that the gift that He blessed the Disciples with would come again, that at the laying on of the hands others would receive. So if you have never accepted Jesus as your Savior, don’t hesitate, you will never know the true meaning of love, and the depth of the deepest peace until you know the Master of it all. If you are saved and have never been filled with the Holy Ghost, Well, Now YOU HAVE HEARD!

Start praying, you pour your heart out to Him and He will do the rest and THEN your walk will be easier, YOU WILL BE RENEWED in ways you never, ever thought possible, and you will KNOW, and I do mean, without a shadow of a doubt the PRESENCE and overshadowing of Jesus, and everything will make sense and struggles that have held you in bondage will cease and you will never ever be the same!

Have a Blessed Pentecost!

“DEATH KNELL IN THE DISTANCE”

“And unto the angel (messenger) of the church in Sardis write: THESE things saith he that hath the seven spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, AND ARE DEAD ( but you are dead). BE WATCHFUL, AND STRENGHTEN THE THINGS WHICH REMAIN, THAT ARE READY TO DIE: for I HAVE NOT found thy works perfect (complete) before God. REMEMBER therefore how thou hast received and heard, and REPENT, IF THOU SHALL NOT WATCH, I WILL COME UPON THEE AS A THIEF, AND THOU SHALT NOT KNOW WHAT HOUR I WILL COME UPON THEE. Thou hast a few names (few people) even in Sardis which hath not defiled (stained) their garments; AND THEY SHALL WALK WITH ME IN WHITE: for they are worthy.”

Revelation 3:1-4

What could we possibly answer Him to this? We being a denominational belief system, but going by HIS WORDS this is not even a belief system. It is spiritual church HE CHOSE US as members in. I will not get into denominations for that reason. Jesus addressed this once by saying that He had “Other sheep not of this fold” that He must bring also.

WE make it about denominations and there will be none in heaven (during our short trip there while He accomplishes the win of the Battle of Armageddon. There will be no denominations in New Jerusalem, which will be on this earth, and all believers will be joined there with Him. “In that day His Name shall be one”. But it does matter here.

In Revelation, He sends out encouragements and warnings to the seven churches. Which I believe in the spirit realm can be assigned to denominations. Sardis, interestingly enough translates in Hebrew to “Prince of Joy”. This church has a NAME that it is ALIVE, lively stones, full of joy at the presence of the Lord.  

They would be of the Holiness/ Pentecostal/ Apostolic persuasion. Hard to separate this group because they are so similar. The Holiness believe in being filled with the Holy Ghost and the many manifestations of His presence BUT they have ran into problems with their “holy” becoming a little holier than thou, strict rules on females and stifling dress codes, overbearing dominate male attitudes held by SOME (NOT ALL) have made it something to run from rather than being embraced. Pentecostal, pretty much the same type of worship but with more leniency on women, it has been marred with the running amok of “prophecy” and a belief that we can just speak things, (well, we can speak all we want but a true word from God CANNOT be taught by man and can not come at will) and if something does not come to pass, well that is that and there goes someone’s faith. Apostolic, who hold to the knowledge that Jesus Christ Is God and worship with tongues and hold fast to the Gift of The Holy Ghost but again it also has been tainted by male dominance and extremely strict rules of conduct.  None of these problems should be in ANY of these groups, they should be filled with the joy and presence of the Holy Ghost and walking on sunshine because of having received the greatest of all gifts! And everyone else THINKS these things were just for the Disciples or are private and not to be publicly displayed.

So if you “belong” to one of these groups please listen up. Sardis is often used as a name for a baby boy, you know baby, fresh, brand new start but the fruit of its “parents” before. So this is in Revelation, the end of all ends, we are in the last days so these messages ARE for the last day churches. If any of us saw a baby laying on the ground gasping for breath we would in a heartbeat grab that child and scream for help with everything within us and not stop screaming until help came and that baby was resuscitated, bright eyed and cooing again. But for sake of THE WORLD we ARE willing to let those things God has called us into be thrown to the ground and lie there, gasping for breath on the very verge of death!

Notice that Jesus said “The things which REMAIN” showing us that some things have already died and are now lost. The garments are the robes of righteousness, holiness that have became stained due to giving ourselves to things of this world and FORGETTING WHAT WE HAVE RECEIVED OF HIM AND HOW WE HEARD, meaning at the moment of salvation, the moment that we asked God into our hearts, the moment we were filled with the Holy Ghost (not the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, but the Holy Ghost) that is the state that He wants us kept in.

Often as we journey as Christians, it is so easy to go with the flow and be swayed by doctrine other than what He called us into. I am not saying these are wrong but if he called you to be a Pentecostal and you decide you are Baptist or Non Denominational, YOU ARE NOT in your proper station and maybe it is more convenient for you but God will not excuse your absence from the post he has chosen. As he tells us to REPENT, realize what we are doing and STOP doing it and get ourselves back where we are predestined and preordained to be. And if we fail to do so, He will, when we least expect Him, visit us, and the death knell will no longer be in the distance, it will be heard in our very ears.

With the passing generation IT is dying and no one notices, no one cares, no one asks what is wrong with us? Why are we not nurturing these precious gifts of God? Why are we not seeking those old paths of praise and worship? Why are we no longer preaching about Holy Ghost and Fire Baptism?  Why are Heaven and Hell rarely mentioned? Why aren’t we telling the lost that there is so much more, that they can pass from death to life NOW on this earth. That there is  so much more than what they see.

When are WE going to be as they were in the upper room? And put down completely carnal stereotypes of each other and if I hear “men pray for men, women pray for women” one more time I will scream!  If a woman ASKS for ladies only to pray for her, or if a guy specifically ASKS for guys only to pray for him, I can see that, they have personal reasons but when it is a mandate, then obviously someone has a problem with carnality in their thinking that they need to address with the Lord, because these things SHOULD NEVER EVEN BE THOUGHT IN A CHURCH. It IS NOT OUR PRAYERS THAT ARE DOING ANYTHING IT IS THE POWER OF GOD!

The person whom He chooses to come through is up to Him, and that can be ANYONE and sometimes the least person we would expect is the very one God will use to send His anointing through and allow them to pray a prayer of faith over us and send our breakthrough or healing. And He is not going to change His mind because we are uncomfortable with each others gender.

That is another big issue we WANT, We think. We don’t ponder what God wants, and we will receive nothing outside His will and we will lose much with that stubbornness. We are all ONE in the spirit, we are NOT male nor are we female. I guess that would be a fair way to answer a difficult person, maybe it is not that we are female, it is maybe just that one day they will be THE SAME thing WE ARE! And in the spirit world that day has already come! I have even heard of discouraging against seeking your particular gift because “anyone can have any gift”, well that could be, but we are told to neglect not the gift that IS IN US and different callings are given to different ones.

He does what He wants, BUT the church is going to have to start seeking and nurturing these gifts and not be so centered on WHO has what because again it is up to God, not us and He looks upon the heart. We are to be in one mind and one accord praying with one purpose of mind and if we can not do this we MUST overcome these MAN MADE OBSTACLES until we can. We are going to have to decide if we want Him in all His fullness or do we want to “fit” in with the rest of the world. And we “must decrease (our self, our human nature) and HE MUST INCREASE” Be who you are in Christ and seek him and all He has called you to be.

“RESONATE”Crawling out of the cave #3

“Where the WORD OF A KING IS, THERE IS POWER:  and who may say unto him, What doest thou?” Ecclesiastes 8:4

We know the word of God, His voice brought Elijah out of the cave, even though he did not change his mind about leaving his earthly ministry.  David kept his sanity and held onto to what he had been promised while waiting out in the cave. When we sometimes find ourselves in caves, either of our own choice or being forced to flee due to circumstance. We are surrounded by hard stone, darkness, and discouragement. It is then that we must be open to that still, small voice that spoke with Elijah, we have to hold onto the word as David did, remembering those words and encouraging our own souls with them.

God will never leave us and He will never forsake us and scripture teaches that no matter where we make our bed or find ourselves, even in the deepest hell, HE KNOWS right where we are. 

Psalm 102:2 “Hide not thy face from me in the day when I am in trouble; incline thine ear unto me: in the day when I call answer me speedily.” 

So listen to His words as they resonate inside that cave and let his promises lift your heart until as David put it “theses calamities be overpast”  because the cave may be dark but once you make it outside that sun will shine on you again, bad days don’t last forever and with rain comes rainbows.

Isaiah 55:11: “So SHALL MY WORD be that goeth forth from my mouth: it shall not return unto me void (unfulfilled), but IT WILL ACCOMPLISH that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” 

Isaiah 55: 14-16: In righteousness shalt thou be established, thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee. BEHOLD, ( old English for listen closely and watch) THEY SHALL SURELY GATHER TOGETHER ( your enemies) BUT NOT BY ME (God did not send them against you) WHOSOEVER SHALL GATHER TOGETHER AGAINST THEE SHALL FALL FOR THY SAKE. BEHOLD, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy. NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST THEE SHALL PROSPER; AND EVERY TOUNGE THAT SHALL RISE AGAINST THEE IN JUGDMENT THOU SHALT CONDEMN. THIS IS THE HERITAGE OF THE SERVANTS OF THE LORD, AND THEIR RIGHTEOUSNESS IS OF (from) ME, SAITH THE LORD.”

That is GOD telling us that we ARE His and our right standing is OF HIM, but that they will come and we will be talked about but that NONE OF IT IS FROM HIM and HE WILL TAKE CARE OF IT ALL.

Psalm 107:1-10,18-20: ” O Give thanks unto the Lord for He is good: for His mercy endureth for ever. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy; And gathered them OUT of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south. They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary (desolate) way; they found no city to dwell in. Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them. Then THEY CRIED UNTO THE LORD IN THEIR TROUBLE, and HE DELIVERED THEM OUT OF ALL THEIR DISTRESSES. And HE LED them forth BY THE RIGHT WAY, that they might go to  a city of habitation. Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness. SUCH AS SIT IN DARKNESS AND IN THE SHADOW OF DEATH, BEING BOUND IN AFFLICATION. Their soul abhorreth all manner of meat (too down to even eat); they draw near unto the gates of death. THEN they cry unto the Lord IN their trouble, and HE SAVETH THEM OUT OF THEIR DISTRESSES. HE SENT HIS WORD, AND HEALED THEM, AND DELIVERED THEM FROM THEIR DESTRUCTION.”

So let his word resonate in you today let the “reason” in that resonation of the word  fill your heart, your mind, your soul. Find YOUR scripture and quote it and keep quoting it.

Psalm 17:4 ” Concerning the works of men, BY THE WORD OF THY LIPS I HAVE KEPT ME FROM THE PATHS OF THE DESTROYER.“

“CAVES” Part 2 “Cavin’ with Dave”

“He that is our God IS the God of salvation; and unto God the Lord belong the issues (escapes) from death.” Psalm68:20

As the Lord asked Elijah what he was doing, and Elijah answered, the Lord called him out of the cave, where He then showed a magnificent display of His power, I believe to try to snap Elijah out of it with the remembrance of WHO was truly on his side. He spoke to Elijah in a quite soft voice asking him again (1 Kings 19:13) ” What are you doing here?” Elijah again word for word gave him his reason and it is so clear the main reason he became discouraged was the solitude. He became so distraught and discouraged that he could no longer see the majesty, the power that would slay his enemy.

He KNEW  it he just lost his ability to continue the fight. You will notice with these passages that God asked TWICE and after that he gave Elijah instruction for turning over his assignment to Elisha. God will not override our wills, it was not his idea for Elijah’s work to come to this end and He showed extreme mercy in how He dealt with him.

This can be proven through the account of Jonah, who just bucked on God and decided he just was not doing what God had commanded him to do and after he found himself in the belly of as he put it “hell”. He found it to be in his best interest to do as he had been asked and even by the end of the book he was still all mad at God and I have never found anything else on what finally became of him.

So you can see there was a complete difference in what was going on in these guys by the difference of how God dealt with them.  As we all know Elijah did not die, he was taken and in my personal opinion, just a little rest, a little reprieve until time to come back to this earth as one of the two witnesses described in Revelation. His work has not been completed. It does prove mercy toward our messed up worn out human minds and half broken spirits. and that we can make OWN ON DECISION to “die” in the cave.

David also did some caving, like Elijah he felt mortal fear. the very real threat of King Saul trying to kill him. Whereas I think Elijah just didn’t want to deal with Jezebel, I think he was tired of fighting the whole bunch. {Complete unrelated side note here, I do love what Jesus said about Jezebel in the book of Revelation, He refers to her as “That woman, Jezebel” and notes that He gave even her a chance to repent, she just evidently did not accept it. Worth thinking about when the devil tries to tell people that they have been too “bad” to be saved.}

Back to David, here he is, he has already BEEN anointed to be King over Israel but as it looks now, if he dares show his face, he will never be King because Saul is very intent on “making a memory outta him.”  Now the funny thing about caves is that sometimes what your hiding from can end up in that cave with you!

 1 Samuel24:3 : ” And he (King Saul) came to the sheepcotes by the way, where was a CAVE; and Saul went in to cover his feet ( attend his needs): and DAVID AND HIS MEN REMAINED IN THE SIDES OF THE CAVE.” Now David’s men were ecstatic and told him this was a divine appointment to take out his enemy but David saw it an a chance to sow some mercy and trust the Lord and would not kill Saul. Instead he cut off a piece of his clothing to prove to Saul just how close he had been and that if he wished him harm he could have nailed him right there. But even in doing that he felt guilty, because vengeance IS God’s and sometimes that is hard for us to remember but David passed this one.

  Now, how he got through his cave experience, he REMEMBERED what God tried to make Elijah see and he thought upon these things and this was his daily bread. This is some of what he actually wrote while in the cave.

Psalm 57: 1-3  “BE MERCIFUL UNTO ME, O GOD, BE MERCIFUL UNTO ME:  for MY SOUL TRUSTETH IN THEE:  yea, IN THE SHADOW OF THY WINGS WILL I MAKE MY REFUGE, UNTIL these calamities be overpast (passed by). I WILL cry unto God most high: unto God that performeth all things for me. HE SHALL SEND FROM HEAVEN, AND SAVE ME FROM THE REPROACH OF HIM THAT WOULD SWALLOW ME UP. SELAH. GOD SHALL SEND FORTH HIS MERCY AND TRUTH.” 

His strongest assets were that he KNEW the power of prayer and praise. Even though we view him as someone who was so close to God (and he was) who could kill lions and bears (and he did) and someone who could hit a giant head on and take that head, someone who walked in the anointing and presence of God, but still he was exactly what we are, HUMAN and he also became afraid, troubled, and discouraged but here is his cry, let it be ours:

Psalm 55:1-8: “Give ear to my prayer, O God, and hide not thyself from my supplication. attend unto me, and hear me: I mourn (wander) in my complaint, and make a noise; BECAUSE of the VOICE OF MY ENEMY, BECAUSE of THE OPPRESSION OF THE WICKED: for thy cast iniquity upon me, and in wrath they hate me. MY HEART IS SORE PAINED WITHIN ME: AND THE TERRORS OF DEATH ARE FALLEN UPON ME, FEARFULNESS AND TREMBLING ARE COME UPON ME, AND HORROR HATH OVERWHELMED ME. And I said, oh that I had wings like a dove! for then would I FLY AWAY AND BE AT REST. LO, THEN WOULD I WANDER FAR OFF, AND REMAIN IN THE WILDERNESS. SELAH. I WOULD HASTEN (SPEED UP) MY ESCAPE FROM THE WINDY STORM AND THE TEMPEST.”

Yeah, KING DAVID, the mighty warrior to end all warriors, who throne IS established FOREVER, whose words written in his place of anguish still shine as a mighty light THOUSANDS of years later.

He was scared, he was tired, and he very much wanted to run away to escape all these things and NEVER return again. Sometimes so do we. Next time we will listen closely and try to hear the words of the KING OF KINGS as HIS voice resonates into our own caves, as He calls us out, our souls feeding on the bread of life, His word and His promises.

CRAWLING OUT OF THE CAVE #1

“But he answered and said, It is written MAN SHALL NOT LIVE BY BREAD ALONE BUT BY EVERY WORD THAT PROCEEDETH OUT OF THE MOUTH OF GOD.” Matthew 4:4

Not only as Christians but just as humans we go through many seasons in life and all these seasonal changes can often leave us  disillusioned, drained, despondent and the most dreaded and deadly of the “D” words, discouraged. It rains on the just and the unjust and that is THE “go to” scripture for all who are weary and when winds blow and the devil wants to convince us that if we were right we wouldn’t be going through this.

But again we all know that he IS the liar of all liars and everyone born upon this earth will suffer heartache whether they choose to follow Jesus or not. As a watchman who no longer has a tower and now sits perched upon a precariously wobbly wall only hoping that the shouts reach the ears of those for which they are intended, I can more than ever relate to all of the above. 

January 2015 my Dad was hospitalized and it really did not look like he was going to make it, before going to visit him one morning I got prayer and I had never before nor have I since received a word at that particular church. Of course my nerves were a whole new level of shot and after the service a man came back and told me that when they had been praying he had received a word for me, and it was that 2015 WOULD BE a good year for me, I knew by the delivery of the message and the eyes of the messenger, that it translated to this, there would be NO time during the coming year that it would FEEL good and that NO MATTER what IT looked like or how trying it became that somehow in the spiritual realm it would be working for a greater purpose and all in all in the book that God keeps of all our lives that it would be recorded as a positive.

I think we tend to look at prophecy sometimes as we wish to see it and not so much as what GOD IS TRYING TO TELL US!

It is often something we may not want to hear but had we not known it we have lost hope and the dreaded “D” word would lead us straight back out into the world under bondage to the other “D” word. I thank God for the word he sent me, it kept my eyes focused through an extremely painful year. My Dad had also received a word at the worst of his illness that his work was not quite finished and had he not received that, he may have not had the will to go on.

 But still sometimes enough wind, enough rain, and just enough cold from feelings of disconnection can turn us to cave dwellers. We like to believe it is a place of shelter, a place of rest, and most of all a surrounding to block out all those nasty attacks and the only way they can get us is head on and we will be able to see that coming.

Right? Well, no, Not quite, caves are very dark, isolated, and filled with bones of whatever had made it a prior shelter and never made it back out, and your not going to get much rest if you have to always keep watch for fear of what is going to come through that “door”.

Elijah tried it, 1st Kings 19, God had already done mighty, mighty works through Elijah, really think about seeing this with your own eyes, FIRE FALLING FROM HEAVEN, PROVISIONS THAT WOULD NOT FAIL, A HUMAN FED BY  RAVENS,THE DEAD RAISED TO LIFE. And yet even he, who had absolutely NO DOUBT anywhere in him concerning the power of God. He ran for his life, he had became so weary that he just wanted it all over and just wanted to go home.

God always patient and merciful sent an angel to feed him and strengthen him, showing us as always God knows right where we are, even when he did not send us in that direction and even though he continued on his emotionally self propelled journey God provided for him. Once he made it through the forty day journey and found the refuge of his cave the Lord asked very point blank “WHAT DOEST THOU HERE ELIJAH?”  After Elijah gave his reasoning to the Lord GOD CALLED HIM OUT OF THE CAVE.

Now God gave a rather majestic display of His power and might over all the universe, and sometimes we also could use a refresher course.   ALL POWER IN HEAVEN AND EARTH.

Psalm 97:1-6 “The Lord reigneth; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of the isles be glad thereof. Clouds and darkness are round about him: righteousness and judgment are the habitation (FOUNDATION) of his throne. A fire goeth before him, and burneth up his enemies round about. HIS lightnings enlightened the world: THE EARTH SAW, AND TREMBLED. THE HILLS MELTED LIKE WAX AT THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD, AT THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD OF THE WHOLE EARTH. THE HEAVENS DECLARE HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS, AND ALL THE PEOPLE SEE HIS GLORY.”

 

ISAIAH 45-5-7 “ I am the Lord, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me: THAT THEY MAY KNOW FROM THE RISING OF THE SUN, AND FROM THE WEST, THAT THERE IS NONE BESIDE ME. I AM THE LORD, AND THERE IS NONE ELSE. I FORM THE LIGHT, AND CREATE DARKNESS: I MAKE PEACE, AND CREATE EVIL (CALAMITY): I THE LORD DO THESE THINGS.” 

ISAIAH 54:16  “Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument (weapon) for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.”  This is the power that created the universe. The voice that spoke everything into existence. The one who named the stars and flung the into existence. The sun and moon will cower in His presence and the very mountains will flee from before Him. Heaven is His throne and earth is but His footstool. And all nations and people will bow before Him and the same small voice who spoke to Elijah is still that same voice that speaks to us today. He is calling us out of the caves and His word is the way. Please join me next time, Lord’s will, and we’ll look at David’s caving and follow up with that voice and the word of his promises that will help us see a brighter day OUTSIDE of the cave.

THE WORD

 “I AM ALPHA AND OMEGA, THE BEGINNING AND THE ENDING, SAITH THE LORD, WHICH IS, AND WHICH WAS, AND IS TO COME, THE ALMIGHTY.” Jesus is.

He Is the beginning: “In the BEGINNING was the WORD. And the WORD was with God, and the WORD WAS God. ALL things were made BY HIM; and without him was not anything made that was made. IN HIM was life: And the life WAS the light of men. And the light shineth into the darkness and the darkness comprehended it not.”

” That WAS the TRUE Light, which lighted every man that cometh into the world. HE WAS in the world, and the WORLD WAS made by Him, and THE WORLD KNEW HIM NOT.”

“He came unto his own, and his own received him not (rejected him). But as many as received him (accepted him) to them he gave power (the right) to become sons (children) of God, even to them which believe on his name. Which were born, NOT of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, BUT OF GOD. AND THE WORD WAS MADE FLESH (became flesh, a human), AND DWELT AMONG US, ( and we beheld HIS GLORY, the glory as THE ONLY begotten of the Father) full of truth and grace.” John 1:1-5,9-14.

John was the foretold voice crying in the wilderness, preparing the way for the Lord. When answering those who questioned his own identity , “John answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not; HE it IS, who coming after me is PREFERRED before me, whose shoe latchets I am not worthy to unloose. The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, BEHOLD THE LAMB OF GOD, which taketh away the sins of the world.” John 1:27,29

I wish I could just put the entire chapter here!  John explains his own call and explains that no one has ever seen God at anytime, BUT they had seen the Son.” For whosoever is born of God overcometh the world; and THIS IS the victory that overcometh the world, even our FAITH. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that JESUS IS the Son of God?  THIS IS HE that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood, And IT IS the spirit that beareth witness, because the spirit is truth. FOR THERE ARE THREE THAT BEAR RECORD IN HEAVEN, THE FATHER, THE WORD, AND THE HOLY GHOST: THESE THREE ARE ONE. AND THERE ARE THREE THAT BEAR WITNESS IN EARTH, THE SPIRIT,AND THE WATER, AND THE BLOOD: THESE THREE AGREE AS ONE.”  1 John 5:4-8.

Jesus said those who come to him, must BELIEVE that HE IS and HE IS a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.  So much deception in the world today, so many trying to say there is another way. “Who is  a liar but he that denieth that Jesus IS the Christ? He is an anti-Christ ( anyone who denies that JESUS IS the SON of God is ANTI CHRIST), that denieth both the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: {BUT} HE THAT ACKNOWLEDETH THE SON HATH THE FATHER ALSO.” 1 John 2:22,23.

 HE IS our Savior, He IS our Beginning, He will be our Ending, everything that has been or will ever be IS created by Him, through Him, and for His pleasure. Heaven IS his throne and earth is His footstool. He IS our ever present help, He IS our Redeemer, HE IS the only way to eternal life. He accepts us and saves us as we are and our first task is know him as IS, our first encounter with Him, when he saves us, cleanses us, makes us new. Then must go on to understand Him as WAS, all the mighty deeds from the beginning, as HE WAS and to the best part of all, that which will be and those things that are to come. 

Ephesians:4:3-6: Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. THERE IS one body, and ONE SPIRIT, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; ONE LORD, ONE FAITH, ONE BAPTISM. ONE GOD, AND FATHER OF ALL, WHO IS ABOVE ALL, and through all, and in you all.” Zechariah 14:9 :And THE LORD SHALL BE KING OVER ALL THE EARTH; IN THAT DAY SHALL THERE BE ONE LORD, AND HIS NAME SHALL BE ONE.”
